Terms of Service
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Helvy mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Helvy ("we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in Switzerland. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Description of Service
Helvy is a Swiss job search assistance application designed for job seekers registered with unemployment services (RAV, ORP, or URC). The Service provides tools to discover relevant job opportunities, track applications, and generate a monthly Bewerbungsnachweis export compatible with the Swiss Job-Room portal.
Eligibility
To use Helvy, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Be legally permitted to work in Switzerland or be in the process of obtaining a work permit
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and onboarding
- Have a valid email address
Helvy is designed primarily for individuals registered with Swiss unemployment services (RAV, ORP, or URC), but is not restricted to such individuals. Use of the Service does not itself constitute registration with any Swiss authority.
Account Registration
To access the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@helvy.jobs
- Ensuring all information you provide is accurate and kept up to date
You may not create more than one account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe are being shared or used fraudulently.
Google Sign-In
If you register using Google Sign-In, your use of that authentication method is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We receive only the basic profile information necessary to create your Helvy account.
Subscriptions & Payments
Access to Helvy requires a paid subscription. The following plans are available:

Billing
All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include applicable taxes. Helvy does not directly handle payment card information.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Refunds
Refund requests are governed by Apple App Store or Google Play refund policies. Helvy does not issue refunds directly. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Apple or Google through their respective support channels.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price change. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Helvy only for its intended purpose โ personal job search assistance. You must not:
- Use the Service to log fictitious, fabricated, or fraudulent job applications
- Submit false information to Swiss unemployment authorities using data generated by Helvy
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than your own personal job search
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
- Attempt to access data belonging to other users
- Upload malicious files or content of any kind
- Violate any applicable Swiss or international law
Intellectual Property
All content, features, design, code, algorithms, trademarks, and intellectual property within the Helvy application and website are owned by or licensed to Helvy and are protected by Swiss and international intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal job search purposes only. This licence does not include the right to:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service
- Create derivative works based on the Service
- Use Helvy's trademarks, logos, or brand assets without prior written consent
- Sublicense or resell access to the Service
The Helvy name, logo, and wordmark are trademarks of Helvy. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
User Content & CV Data
You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload within Helvy, including your profile data, logged applications, notes, and any CV you upload.
By using the Service, you grant Helvy a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and use your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
CV Upload
If you choose to upload a CV, you confirm that:
- You are the author of the CV or have the right to upload it
- The CV does not contain third-party confidential information
- You consent to the CV being processed by our AI service to extract profile data
- You understand that the CV will be stored securely under your account
You can delete your CV at any time via Settings. Upon deletion, the CV file and any extracted data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Application Data Accuracy
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of job applications you log in Helvy. We do not verify whether logged applications were actually submitted. The Bewerbungsnachweis CSV export reflects exactly what you have logged in the app.
Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
No Employment Guarantee
Helvy does not guarantee employment, job interviews, job offers, or any particular outcome from your job search. Job listings displayed in the app are sourced from third-party platforms and may be inaccurate, outdated, or no longer available. We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or availability of any job listing.
AI Matching
Job match scores generated by our AI service are indicative only. They are based on the profile information you provide and should not be relied upon as a definitive assessment of your suitability for any position. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated match scores.
Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Helvy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, loss of income, or any consequences arising from use or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Helvy in the 12 months preceding the claim.
RAV Compliance Disclaimer
The monthly application quota displayed in Helvy is a guideline based on publicly available information. Your actual monthly quota is set individually by your RAV/ORP/URC advisor and may differ. Always follow your advisor's specific instructions.
The Bewerbungsnachweis CSV export generated by Helvy is a convenience tool. It is your responsibility to:
- Verify that the format is accepted by your specific RAV/ORP/URC office
- Ensure all logged applications are genuine and accurately documented
- Submit your applications evidence within the deadlines set by your advisor
- Comply with all conditions of your unemployment benefit entitlement
Helvy does not accept responsibility for any decisions made by RAV authorities regarding your unemployment benefits, whether or not those decisions relate to data generated by the app.
Applications must be spread throughout the month as required by Swiss unemployment regulations. Helvy displays reminders about this requirement but cannot enforce it.
Termination
Termination by you
You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time via Settings โ Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent. All your data will be deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
Termination by Helvy
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms
- We reasonably believe your use of the Service is fraudulent or harmful
- Required by law or competent authority
- You fail to pay your subscription fees
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will provide a pro-rata refund of any prepaid subscription fees for the unused period, unless termination is due to your breach of these Terms.
Effect of termination
Sections 7 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (RAV Disclaimer), and 12 (Governing Law) survive termination of these Terms.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
Informal resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at privacy@helvy.jobs and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve any complaint within 30 days.
Consumer protection
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable Swiss consumer protection law, including the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and the Swiss Consumer Credit Act.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email and/or an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The updated Terms will always be available at helvy.jobs/terms-of-service.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account before the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
